A deposit of 10% of the stay is paid immediately. Registration is binding and the deposit is non-refundable.

Once the deposit has been paid, your booking will be forwarded to the instructor for this retreat (Jullius), who will arrange the practical details for the remaining payment and send you all the information for your stay.

Included in the price

  • 2 nights at idyllic Egeborg Bed&Breakfast by Roskilde Fjord in Skibby
  • 2 x brunch and 2 x dinner (all vegetarian), as well as tea, coffee and snacks
  • Yoga: Hatha Moon, Hatha Sun, Yin Journey, Yoga Nidra and meditation
  • Opening ceremony, intentions, community sharing, and closing circle
  • Time for silence and reflection

Meals
A nourishing brunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner on Friday and Saturday, all created with care, pure ingredients, and love. All meals are vegetarian and prepared with an eye for balance and support for your yoga practice. Tea, coffee, and water are included. The first 15 minutes of meals are in silence.

Instruction

The evening practice will provide calm and grounding, as in Hatha Moon we experience absolute stillness in body and mind. 

The postures we use in the evening create both calm and challenge us, and stepping out of our comfort zone creates magic in the brain and nervous system. The postures can also open up what lies suppressed within us, both consciously and unconsciously. 

With the tranquility that the evening practice brings, you will be able to simply observe without reacting and acting, and perhaps even gain insight into where the suppressed feelings come from.

The morning practice is pure energy, where consciousness and all senses are awakened to life again. Through postures and breathing, we work with the energy in the body in Hatha Sun and are filled with strength and power. At the same time, our mind becomes focused and we gain access to our intuition. 

Hatha Sun gives us plenty of power and a sharp mind, so we are ready for the day ahead.

In the midst of it all, we have a 3-hour Yin Journey, where we open the body and release what is stored in your connective tissue.

Facilitator

Jullius Aldus Søndergaard

Jullius has 1800 hours of yoga training behind him. He has taught on courses in both Traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga and Yin and has over 30 years of experience in teaching yoga and meditation.

Jullius teaches Hatha based on the ancient texts and original traditions and incorporates this as much as possible into Yin teaching as well. In Yin, he specializes in long classes, what happens in the body physically and mentally, but also in the nervous system, connective tissue openings, and the energetic. 

Who can participate

Everyone is welcome, yoga is for all ages and bodies, and no prior experience is required. Remember - Yoga is not flexibility, that's just one of the many positive side effects that come with it. Yoga is becoming the wildest version of yourself, where you are filled with courage, love, and surplus energy, and you gain a mind that you master. Yoga is meeting yourself.

Practical information

Bring along
Yoga mat, blocks, bolster/cushions and blanket(s), clothes (preferably layered, so you can adjust how much warmth you need), towel, toiletries, notebook, water bottle.

Transportation
Not included. Car recommended. Carpooling can be arranged among participants.
